This project is a representation of my favourite book, “If I Stay” by Gayle Forman. The purpose of this book trailer is to leave the viewer curious about the book. As the pages of the book flip through, mini animations will start to fill them. These animations represent key themes and factors of the book. To represent the main character's love for music, the background has an instrumental of a cello solo playing, along with a few other relevant sounds such as the pages turning, etc. This calming flip-through of the book is suddenly interrupted by the abrupt appearance of a black screen and car crash audio. This quick switch is meant to leave the viewer almost confused and wanting more. From there, the title of the book and the credits will appear.

I created all the drawings, took all the photos, and edited all the animations for this video! All audio clips used are credited in the video.
